you really only need to let it cool down for 1 min. I'd prolly let mine go for 2 though. I just sit there and wait cuz i don't have a TT. It is funny, when we go somewhere, everyone gets out and is like, WTF u doing?............lol

^^^that's what I thought, coz the fan tends to kick in every 60seconds after a long(30-1hr drive) normal driving...

but i set mine on 1min30sec, and I don't even have the turbo on yet, TRIAL AND ERROR

yeah but I never run my car HARD then get ready to shut it off...like on my way home from work, I NEVER BOOST HARDLY...if so maybe 2 psi so when I get home...10-20 secs...really 20 secs and I'm out...but sometimes I just let it go the entire 50 secs...but yeah if I got on it HARD and then wanted to shut it off right after that, I would let it idle for a couple minutes then shut off...

well I can lock it manually... but the alarm is not armed until the engine stops then in 2mins the alarm arms itself up... it's better than can not lock it at all... kinda beats the purpose of the TT...

If you have a DEI product alarm you can still arm it. Hold down the arm button for about 5 seconds and it will over ride the car and lock anyway. But when the car shuts off it will unlock. Food for though.

Guns... I emailed KMS last October and for $75 they said I could get a copper head gasket. I think that gasket with the ARP studs the riceburner's working on will work out nicely.

Cool I will get with my mechanic and see what he thinks about the copper head gasket. Thanks for the research.
