K&N makes a good selection of crankcase breather filters you can find online. I dont have a civic but I had to get a filter with a male nipple and use a short piece of hose to raise the filter enough to clear the valve cover. Usually a place like Advance Auto will have 1 or 2 sizes and they are female, so you might have to order it online.

I originally bought the K&N filter breather, it worked very well. But an oil can is the way to go. It'll keep the back of your motor a lil cleaner too... I bought a Mororos breather/catch can system.

good point<< isn't that what it does when it's directed to the intake?

so if u have this air breather theres no need to link it to the intake/turbo. because it has it's own filtration system. << correct?

Either run a hose from the valve cover to a breather system like the moroso, or if routing back to the turbo, run a line from the valve cover to a breather tank, then the top port of the tank to the intake pipe before the turbo. Those are the best 2 ways to do it.

The idea of a breather is for the valve cover to be able to BREATHE. It's not supposed to be pressurized. If you rout it into your charge pipe, you are compressiong the valve cover and could ad unneccessary heat.

the only thing i have a question on is the following.

if im n/a, do i need a catch can? what are the chances of the oil spilling out and messing up ur filter and feul rail? is it even likely if i connect it directly for this to happen?

No you do not need one. If you are staying NA, might as well rout it to your intake pipe just like stock. It's legal and environment friendly.
