my motor took a drink with the straw called a CAI in a big puddle that didn't seem so big. Wasn't gonna put the same motor back in when i had the opertunity to make it faster so..... the rest is history as they say.
Bought the '01 Civic because the 7th gen was new and I wanted to be the first to do stuff to it. In 2002 the RSX came out and I want to be one of the first to try this new engine for a swap, so from June - November 02 Hasport and my shop (Landis Automotive) did a cooperative swap in which we helped each other during the 4 month swap period. Finally on November 11 2002 I had one of the first k20 swaps in a car. So, 2003 came along, and it was time to do something new again. Next step was to turbo it. Other k20a swap cars beat me to it, but I'm still in the top 10 I think for a turbo'd k20a swap in a car. To bad it's still not tuned
. Anyways, I like to try new things and cars is my hobby. Thats why I do what I do

well im waiting another week for my car to be done...i did a k20a2 swap with full race mounts and wirring harness, exedy stage III clutch and flywheel, all internal work, aem fuel rail, and also stage II turbo kit by cybernations, and also quaife lsd....i decided on doing this b/c ive rebuilt the transmission 5 times already and i just give up on that motor......so far everything is goign great with the installs...should be done within another week..i will have cdmex post the pictures......
I did mine because I wanted to go faster, with a platform that I felt would be a better starting ground for modifications. When it was all said and done in October of 2002, I couldn't have made a better choice with the A2!
