turbo or swap?

Hey
I'm going to be having to make a decision on what I want to do with my car (2k2 civic LX coupe). I can either go for a k20a2 swap, or boost my d17. I haven't been on this board for a while so, could someone update me on the new turbo kits and their power ratings? The only problem I have with boosting my d17, is that my speed governor will still limit me at 117mph. Do any of the kits out now, have an ECU reflash or anything?
How much would a k20a2 swap cost for our cars? I mean, I know the engine will be ranging from around $3500+, but will I need axles? header? etc.

thanks in advance
Axel

i swap will cost you alot more money than a turbo. If your looking to make your car quicker for cheap swapping is not for you. I put $7800 bucks into my car. Mine was cheaper than normal because my doner car had everything i needed, and me and my friend did it DIY style. If you buy just a a motor and have a shop do the swap expect to pay about 10g's.

The reason i did the swap is because i beleave the k20 has alot more potential than the d17...well thats my $.02 anyway.

personally, i don't agree going that fast on the streets and you won't hit that at the track with just swap or turbo.
