N/A buildup?

ok... so you've got your headers, cat, downpipe, exhaust, intake...

What are the next 3 things you do to increase horsepower?
(without turbo or NOS)

WITHOUT Turbo or nitrous you can increase hp by swapping a K-series engine into your 7thgen (K20a, a2, a3, and K24 I believe).

If you're going to stick with your D17, I suggest waiting to see what Crower can do to the D17 that's been sent to them by one of this site's members. Or, you can try Exospeed, it seems they're real eager to make parts for our engine.

I couldn't really recommend to you what to do next with a D17, although a PNP head could be in order. Anyway, I'll finish this off by saying "SEARCH" cause someone is bound to tell you that sooner or later. Good luck.

I've used the search plenty... it's been extremely useful... but it's good to get new info... new parts are released, new companies offer services etc...

I just wanted to get a fresh perspective...

I'm just wondering if people have recently played with cams, cam gears, PnP, and what kind of results they have got...

I've seen quite a bit about the SF turbo kit and am honestly considering it.... just curious what people have done pre-turbo to increase HP...

Camshaft, valve springs, engine management, fuel injectors, and maybe the Tornado fuel saver.

Thumbs up

As SLeePeRCIVICHopeful suggested if your gonna stick with the D17 then Crower have lots of goodies coming for us. I sent my engine and we are looking at a full valvetrain package, 5 different stages camshafts, pistons (high and low comp.)& rod combos & camgear etc to be released (expected) late October/November. Probably a lil wait but it will be worth it.
And unlike other companies we don't have to second guess Crower, Brian and his team know how to make bread out of stones...
