Ok, i have a 2001 honda civic lx automatic and here i go. so pretty much ive been posting insane amounts the past few days trying to figure out what i want to do to my civic. so far ive figured out one thing, i want more power. and i wanna fully build my little d17 engine. so pretty much if i go turbo this means im gonna get low compression pistons, reinforce everything so ill be safe running like 12lbs of boost daily. if i go naturally aspirated im talking high compression pistons, reinforce everything, lighten all the parts, raise the revs to like 9k or something. if theres someone on this site that reads this that knows a whole helluva lot about building engines please PM me, im gonna have to have a long talk with you till i figure out what i want
. and anyone who feels like posting their ideas PLEASE DO! i need help figuring out what to do. i figured that it would cost about 12k in the end for the turbo and about 9k for N/A, and with a turbo id have about 350hp, and with N/A id be going about 275hp. plz dont doubt the numbers ive done plenty of research and it can be done, and u saw the amount im willing to put in. so pretty much im reaching out to see what every1 thinks and give some reasons, post some numbers of other cars, etc etc. i know our cars are new in this scene and not much has been done, thats why im reaching out to everyone to come together and help me out. thanks.

actually i was considering the new mazda 3, i love compacts, but then i figured screw that. i want to keep this car as my project car, and then in a year or two buy a new car, but still keep this and work on it. what im planning will prolly take me about 2 years to finish. but damn will it be able to move. i want to do it and do it right.
