Another Mid-pipe crisis
Sup peeps.....Im sure alot of you who have the Tanabe Racing medallion have noticed that when its rains the Tanabe tends to rattle like crazy under the passenger's seat. The sound is insanely annoying so I decided to finally wrap it in some cheap *** thremal wrap from Pep Boys. So now instead my car smells like *** everytime I drive cuz the piece of crap wrap burns 
I was looking into getting high quality thermal wrap but now I found out that it may cause the mid pipe to deterioate quicker. Any suggestions? Should I try to get it fixed at muffler shop? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

yea i have had my tanabe for over a year and it just started rattling last week and its has always hit the rear sway bar it really sucks
