Help on TSI Turbo Kit!!

I am in the process of getting my TSI Turbo Kit installed, but we ran into a couple of speedbumps. Any help would be appreciated.. I have the TSI Extreme Trubo kit for my 02 Civic EX, with the T28 Dual BB Turbo. Here are the issues, 1. The intercooler pipping runs right into my A/C, does that have to be removed or is there a way around it? 2. There has to be a hole drilled into my oil pan, the fitting I got for it (for the oil return) I was told, was for a steel oil pan, which I don't think that I have, am I wrong about this are there other fittings for that?

Thanks

the EX oilpan is magnesium/aluminum, so theyre right about that.

you may need to redo the piping to keep your a/c... and i never knew the TSI kit had a t28... the ones i saw were all t25's

I upgraded the turbo to a T28 Dual, We are trying to reroute the piping to go underneath the subframe... Question is the fitting that I got is for a steel oil pan will that be okay or do I need to change that too?

its definitely doable, but its considerably more difficult to weld one metal to a different one.

welding with aluminum is a pain in the ***, its extremely hard to make a bead...i suggest just finding an aluminum fittin(lowes or home depot has similar ones) and having someone weld it for you

The turbocharger is the reason why your a/c compressor wont bolt up after installing your downpipe. If you got the t25bb you'd be fine.

ask any welder.... you dont weld aluminum to steel or vise versa...since your oil pan is aluminum, get an aluminum fitting....

So let me quess, what you are saying is that if I didn't up grade the ball bearing, which gave me the T28 I would have been fine? Well that's stupid.

Okay does anyone have an idea where I could get another fitting then? I have already been to Lowe's and Advanced Auto Parts?

t28 = physically larger.

the t25 is available with a ball bearing as well.
