Alright, I HAVE searched for legal things regarding turbo's and the SF kit..and I havent found my answer. Is the SF kit legal? Will I pass emissions with it? I live in MD where I have to get inspection and emissions. If you have a turbo setup, how do you manage to pass these things?

If there is a petition out there, then it's not CARB exempt... Will it pass emission? Depends on the state.

i have emissions check in my county and the only thing they don't like about my turbo set-up is a breather filter, other than that, everything was ok.

Just take off the charger pipe and put a short ram on it.. that'd take you maybe 20 minutes.

Im in MD. As long as you still have your stock ECU, dont have a check engine light, and your catalytic converter is in place, you will pass. There is no visual inspection under the hood or exhaust gas test.
