I reccommend pure methanol. It helped a lot on my car. I ran a 50/50 mix with methanol and water.
Also note, used either IK22s or IK24s with this setup. My IK20s do not handle that much fuel with the orignal gap and misfiring was horendous. IK22s and 24s have a gap of .032 I believe, while the IK20s are like .041-.044.
But yeah methanol is definately the way to go. I reccomend buying a 5 gallon drum of meth. Fill a 10 gallon tank with it. Then fill the other half with water. That way it's premixed and you'll always run with the same concentration. Helped me.

Wait... a 10 gallon tank of what??? where is this 10 gallon tank??? lol... i'm confused about the whole alchy injection thing... are u talking bout dumping meth in the gas tank and fill the rest up with water???? i Hope you can answer this cause i feel like a total IDIOT for even asking this... but i'd rather find out and be flamed then have no idea what anyone's talking bout... thanks!!!!

Rep Power: 0 How many people have tried the different methods and dyno'd your car. I did and I made almost 20whp more when properly tuned with pure methanol. Catalyst is the one who told me to run pure meth and that is what he is running. If you do try the 50% mixture be sure to dyno with a wideband O2 sensor and see what is going on. I am sure at low psi (6-8) you would be good with a 50% mix. But at 10-14) psi you will need the extra fuel and the higher octane it gives you. That unless you are running emanage and you can retard your timing.

Rep Power: 0 WTF kinda question is that??? go to www.honda-tech.com they can help you wiht your motor there... you have an older civic hence this is a 7thgen civic site and we have D17 motors... not D16's like the older ones... and please don't post in a thread a random question like this when it has no relevance to the topic at hand...

and I'll be getting my turbo kit soon but is it fine using an IK22 sparked plugs, pregapped to 0.4??? i've read .32 is better... 
and also any website recomendation on where to get an alcohol injection kit? which brand/or make is better... will this bolt right in with the SF Kit?

Rep Power: 326 Because I don't have methanol stations anywhere near where I live, I have to buy pure meth from a racing fuel store online. $64 per 5 gallons if you add shipping. Cars are expesive
