I am wanting to do a motor swap in my 1997 Honda Civic EX. I have a couple of friends and stuff in the junkyard business and everything so I could probably find a donar car to get the motor out of. I just need to know what all will I need to do a successful swap?

hey i have a 1992 honda civic with a B18 block and a B16 head and a GSR tranny i was wondering if everything will SWAP in a 1997 honda civic. my 1992 body is not worth the money and time. and i have the 1997 with no rust and its in great condistion. plz let me know. thanks.

Swapping a b series into the older d series cars are a piece of cake. The only one that is hard to swap that has a d series is the em2/es1. So really it should be easy for you. Hell the 99-00 si has the b series in it.
