painting the SF intercooler?
I ordered a turbo kit from SF and requested an intercooler without the SF logo, but it came with the logo on it anyway (for some reason I knew from day one this would happen...) anyway, is it safe to paint over the logo with silver paint that matches the intercooler? sending it back would just be a hassle

well, if you paint just the logo you will be ok.......but i still wouldn't do it.
And don't paint the whole thing.
btw........even if you paint it, it won't match and you will see the logo anywayz.

yeah I was only planning on painting the grill section.. I have this silver/chrome spraypaint that matches the grill perfectly, so I'm not concerned about mis-matching, just want to know how it will hinder the performance of the intercooler at all..

Get some aircraft stripper, its safe on aluminum (I stripped a set of wheels with it). Spray on, wait, hose it off real well. Then take it and get it anodized black
