RSX 320cc Injectors fit our cars
OK, so I was just talking to Mike @ SF & he said that the RSX 320cc Injectors fit our cars without any modifications.
But they cost like $95 each!
Is this a good idea to get them, or get the RC ones & do the spacer plate mod? Are the RC onesmuch cheaper?
Anybody know if the RSX & RSX-S have the same injector size?

Cool if yes, however the harnesses may be different. The S2000's might fit than too, and they are 380cc's according to s2ki.com.
Interesting thing though - check this out:

The above image came hondaautomotiveparts.com, its the intake manifold of the 2003 civc SI.
This image came from acuraautomotiveparts.org (essentially the same site for acuras):

This is from the 2003 RSX BASE - those two engines were supposed to be identical I thought......The manifolds AND fuel rails are different...Thought the RSX base and SI both had the K20A3 in them? RSX type S is suposed to have the K20A2 in it.....huh.

they both have k20a3's, but have different manifolds due to the differences in the engine bays. contrary to what some may believe, the EM2 shares its engine bay dimensions with the EP3, not the DC5.
the fuel rail thing is new to me, though.

I may be the first to try this if my friend w/ the 700 HP RSX didnt throw his stock injectors away.
Hmm the K serires fuel rail is much nicer too, center feed and a pulse damper....I wonder if it will fit?

I'd like to see some actual photos of the injectors. If they are the same "style," ie recessed pintle style, and around the same length, AND utilize the same style injector clips - than they would be a good upgrade - however, 320cc's are still fairly small. If they were closer to 400cc's they would be better...They might be able to be upgraded to a larger flow, unlike our stock injectors.
The S2000 injectors look like a completely different design (old school from the 2000 series B18's)....The clips might fight, but they physically appear larger, from a photo I've seen of the spoon ones.
btw - stock injectors are suppsed to be 220cc's....of course no one has flow tested them yet, so that may be different.

Also... Please PM me, whover finds out what works or not, cuz I dont have an additional injector controller and will probably be getting rid of my vortec min rail setup if this rsx theory is true. K20A3 I should say...

I went to the Hoda dealer to order just one and they told me no refund on special order items. So I did not order it. Is there anyone with a friend who drives an RSX? Just pull a injector and compare.
It is not hard to pull the fuel rail. it is right there on top of the IM.

Slightly confused though... If they supposedly fit... What about aftermarket injectors for the RSX fitting our cars. If the stock ones fit, then aftermarket ones fit, why would companies list their injectors supporting both the civic and the rsx? Wouldn't it be cheaper and give you more potential to buy aftermarket rsx injectors?
hey madwheel.....you've got the SF kit.....what exactly comes in the "fuel system" from them??......and is the theory that you dont have to upgrade injectors up to about 9-11 psi......but anything after that our stock injectors cant produce enough?! this is open to anyone as well...

To answer a previous question in the thread, The Type S and the base RSX have different injectors and part numbers. As far as it fitting a D17, I am still looking into that.
Edit: BTW, we can get the injectors right from Acura.
