Hey Cat, Watch out!!! (PICS)

Lol... when I say this I mean, my car's right behind ya... nothing personal lol.

I actually owe it to SF for their service in helping me get the setup I have now. They're good guys, even though they're busy, and will do what it takes to please their customers.

Anyway... I got a new turbo, one because of problems with original wastegate, and 2, i wanted more power so i chose to pay for a big upgrade and buy a larger turbo...

I now have (installed and runnign) a T04B, with T3 wheel, clipped. The VAFC2 goes in hopfully next week. My fuel got recalibrated last month so that's perfect now. My Moroso oil breather system, and moroso battery relocation system get installed during the week when I finally buy 4awg wire. When that's done, im makeing a new pipe so the filter can be right behind the headlight.

Needless to say, 10psi, alcy injection, denso plugs, race clutch and flywheel, T04 turbo, with equal runner manifold and a cat-less exhaust...

It will all be dyno tuned in mid-late aprile once it warms up here, and should be making about 275whp. I plan on using my civ for heavy racing (full course mainly, with occasional drag). Check out my profile to see all of my mods, and mods to be. Thanks to Dezod for my sponsership... Even if you're not sponsered by him, he still gives out awesome deals so click my sig at the bottom to check him out!!!

Now for the pics...

Whatcha guys think of this lil setup?

Full boost at about 4000rpms in 1st and second (if I have any traction). I can make full boost by 3800rpms in 3rd if I get on it soon enough. As it spools the rpms go up so there's no real accurate way to measure the soonest rpm I can peak at. Either way, it's not too bad, when I'm racing I'm at high rpms anyway so it's all good.

what size turbo do you have? That's my main reasoning. That, the lighter flywheel, dynotuned VAFC2, cat-less exhaust... I dunno...

But I know if I am faster, it's not by much.

All depends on how good you can control your launch, and how your psi.

Honestly a mid 13 is definately a goal to shoot for. This turbo is a lil slower than my T3 off the line, but once your up to speed it definately gets faster. The turbo I have isn't as efficient as the T3 at the psi I'm running right now, but once the engine is built and the psi is turned up, it's efficiency will go up and the power increase will be much much better.

What upgrade did you go with?

they offer a T3, a T3 Super 60 (most common upgrade) but they also have the larger T04B turbo for the stage 2 kit...

If all you asked for was an upgrade, you prob got the T3 super 60. Mid to high 13s should be a reasonable goal (at 10ps).

internals, and traction lol...

go with rods and pistons, if money's tight, try a block guard. but you also need to upgrade your injectors from their. The SF fuel pump they ship with the kits handle up to 600 hp so u'll never have to change the pump.
