Going into limp mode-not sure why
Ok, my car does fine under 7 or lower psi. As soon as I switch to high boost (about 10 psi), I get almost to the top of second and it goes into limp/safe mode and I can't get it over 3400 rpm. I'm not sure if it's the clutch that can't handle the torque so it overrevs or I'm not bleeding out enough manifold pressure through my check valve. I'm just using 2 regular gm check valves in between the map and the manifold but I've been thinking of using the missing link for awhile. Any thoughts or suggestions?

EDIT: It could be that the vacuum pressure is too much for your check valve set up to bleed off and your ECU is seeing positive pressure. I would bet on it being that.

Well, I talked to Mike Stafford, his suggestions were: go with autolite plugs and gap b/w 32-35, keep an eye on my a/f gauge to see where my fuel mixture is and to run a test light to make sure the alcohol injection is working. I've swapped the plugs but haven't tried running it again yet. I'll be trying soon though just to see what happens.

Add another 2 check valves to your string of check valves.

Thanks I added another PVC valve(check valve) on line w/ my MAP sensor. It did the trick up to 10psi on new DH clutch. WIll up it to 12psi when I can take time to tune for safety.

OK anyone having this problem get the Missinglink Check valve.........
I installed mine tonight and it did the trick. Had the boost set too high and spiked at 14psi. The missinglink held and no check engine light. It works perfect. No more MAP sensor problems and reseting the battery.
There is someone on this site selling one. Look under the sales forum.
