Oil return line?

I am going to install my turbo kit in the am. I never got the no weld oil pan tap from SF. Would drilling the whole and then using a tap thread the hole. use a threaded fitting. on the inside and outside of the oil pan use a nut on the threaded pipe and jb weld it all together. That should hold up good. Right? Any suggestion?

thanks for the link. but I plan to do the install tomorrow. I will try and rig something up and use JB weld to seal it all up. I dont know if you have ever used it? But the stuff works good. I will post pics of what ever I come up with.

did you PM catalysy to ask what parts they use and if they'd be readily available at some store? It's better to use something they rigged up that works, then to go through the trouble of trying to rig something yourself. Worth a shot at least

I have been talking to Stan (Flamenco-T) about buying his return line kit with the no-weld fitting. He is a great guy I'll post pics when I purchase and install. The SF rubber hose is not satisfactory for my setup.

Here is a picture of what I ended up using. All found at pepboys and truvalue hardware. No leaks and running boost thanks to Speed Fetish.

The plastic vacum distr. piece cracked so had vacum leak. I had the brain box on vacum and it needed to be on the piping. The bottom piping from turbo to intercoller blow off. No map sensor isolator. Bad boost controller. Several small things. But Speed Fetish( another plug for them) hooked me up.
