Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's something I've discussed w/Boosted2k2, and MikeDaRippa and others time and time again.

Lately, people just want to jump on the Boost Bandwagon wayyyy to quickly. No research, no learning, nothing. They just wanna hop into their cars and heare "spool....pshhh" It's not as easy as that guys.

And when you come across work like this it makes you wonder how many others have been screwed over by work like this, and they're positively unaware of it. Guess it doesn't matter anyway because they're bandwagoners and wont ever be known for making any serious power, but w/e. It's still not right.

Get your money back man, and get it back NOW. I'll PM you w/some info that might be helpful.

naw. that's not right. As a company and manufactuer they still shoudl have took their time to produce a quality product that will represent them. 2.5 months is a while to get something like that. Now if he paid 200 for it then he would have got what he payed for but not 700 dollas.
He seems to be alot calmer than me cause i know iwork hard for my money. So if i put up 700 for custom mani, i expect near perfection and this isn't anything close.
I'd rather buy that OBX one off ebay and take my chances with that one.

Mike seems to be handling it like a professional and i do applaud him on that
now all he has to do is follow up and their postive reputation as well as confident consumers will be restored.

And i agree wit you Speedychic
i felt that same way when SF popped up and people didn't want to try to do their own customm kits anymore.

Just because you got a bad part from one company doesn't mean that you should go around accusing other companies of the same problem.
DH didnt make your pulley bro...they send out the specs.

this is crazy, i'm expecting my kit pretty soon too (quit your laughing). so now not only do i have to double check to make sure all the parts are there but now i have to double check the quality of everything. everyone says how great SF's customer serivce is and in a way, it is good. when they forget parts to someones kit they send out those parts asap, thats good customer service, but double checking to make sure those parts are already in the box before you ship it out and those parts are quality, thats GREAT customer service. i wish half the posts about SF didnt exist here cuz every other one is a complaint about this or that, its when you dont read about all this stuff is when you know they did a good job.

When i started hearing parts were not shipped in the correct boxes it seemed like something was up. Now that the parts they actually manage to ship may or may not be professional quality? That seems unacceptable to me. I didn't get this kit when it first came out becuase i was worried it wasn't tested enough, now i'm worried that they will rush the production and do a bad job. I think somebody needs to step up and tell us how SF will not only REPAIR what they did, but how they will PREVENT it from happening in the future.

Everyone ticked at fly, he didn't do a damn thing wrong so stop hating.

Anyone ticked at SF, I feel for you, but no one can say they don't care about customer service. Even if they turn out a bad part, they have never said they wouldn't fix it. I have multiple examples to back that statement up.

All in all, for the majority of people with the SF kit, besides the wait for it, the systems work out pretty well.

Hate to post on this thread and add bad publicity to SF but i hope they take care of it in a timely matter. Its unfortunate when things like this happen and i can only imagine how something like that was allowed to be shipped. When i first saw this thread i was Holy @#$% that looks bad and was thinking well maybe i wont get SF. But then after reading thru all the post i rationalized that things do happen and will assume its a rarity with SF for something like that to slip thru the cracks and be shipped.

Comparing....

To .....

isnt realy a comparison if you look at the prices. I would be VERY unhappy if i received your manifold cause im into quality on EVERYTHING i do. I still would give SF my business in the future thou assuming they continue to give what appears to be good cutomer service. Good luck Opto... Keep us posted

In my soppiest voice why cant we all just get along. There should realistically be only a few posts on this not many pages. Opto had a problem so he posted it and the next post should of been cat and he would of said I will fix it and that is it.

one thing you have to understand is that that everyone makes a mistakes, just cuz someone got a bad mani doesn't mean they're all bad, iwould be like someone getting a crappy civic, just cuz that one is bad doesn't mean civics suck...

catalyst: well I had called Stafford many times and tried to arrange a date to drive (again) to Lancaster yet either you or him kept putting me off for a later and later date ... so I said screw it ... also, he would never return my calls and his voice box was always full ...

if u guys are willing to fix at least my check engine light problem, then I would be very more than greatful ... that's the biggest pita problem that has occured to me that I haven't figured out how to fix ... -_-;;;

hm, well "crap manifold" is an immoderate exaggeration ... it is a good manifold, but it is a bit warped (which I had noted when I first got it ... the left side seems to leak a little) ... it is a very decent manifold for a custom fabrication shop

it is unfortunate that your manifold turned out that way... i would probably be just as mad if i got something like that.... but i'm sure that mike is willing to do everything they can to remedy the situation... i realize that they've had some problems before but i also know that they went out of their way to fix the problem....

this thread was originally started to review the product that opto got... if you have problem with a specific problem... e-mail, PM or call mike.... there is no reason to gang up on mike... address your problems privately rather than starting a hating thread... locked

ps... and no, stafford did not ask me to close this thread, i'm doing this outta my own free judgement...
