Dh-racing 74mm Billet Throttle Body Combo
When would there be some dynos available to see? I'm not trying to sound like an *** or anything but it just seems like alot of people are jumping onto these products without actually knowing what the their potential is. Don't get me wrong, if there are gains that are proven on a stock car (not turbo'd), then I would be in line to possibly purchase some parts. Also, would there be a shop in Canada that you would be able to ship to so that the border fees wouldn't kill me?
I will have mine dyno tuned. Not sure when but should be soon after I get mine. Josh promised to send it out on Wednsday morning. With some other stuff for me. IS there anyway to get my PnP shipped w/ the other two orders. If you bump me up on the list for the PnP and ship all, I will get all bolted on and dyno it for you.
last question bout the tb combo
Ok Josh, i almost made up my mind...just one more question about this combo deal...if i send you my intake manifold i get 75$ off, if i am in the first 5 to order, i get $50 off, will those discounts stack? if so, i'm TOTALLY DOWN!!!
also, how long will the process take? (from the time you get my shipment, till the time you ship it back)
thnx alot!

Also Josh, I know you say it's an install that an idiot can do, but does it come with directions?

Hey man Mike From SF has dyno'd our ported head and on a slipping clutch showed gains, gained .7 tenths in the 1/8 mile on less boost, and people are already feeling gains on the dual groove pulley, what more can we do? The parts are proven, and this will be too, JUMP ON MAN you won't be dissapointed.

I understand your concerns with new products, and I Have strong confidence in our work being I have a SOHC All Motor that buries the tach to 9500 Like nothing in each gear, so I know that soon enough everyone will be in love and believing like the rest. All in due time, no big deal.

Not convinced yet, take some dyno sheets or track times on a stock or almost stock car to help me along, but when that proof comes up count me in. Not trying to be rude, but with a project car that sucks most of your money out of you (not the Civic) you have to count your pennies wisely, you know what I mean?

Send me $75 for 2 dyno runs and I will post the numbers once I get my new Billet TB combo bolted on.

I was reffering to Cosmo's post about wanting dyno numbers for your products.
He wants to know numbers. But yet probably doesn't even know what his car is running. I guess he believes in the advetized numbers. I was just giving some advise. I know where my car is at in horsepower and will know how much an upgrade will give me once I dyno my car.
I dont know very much about Hondas. But I do know you need to know where you are coming from to know where you are going.

I could see Josh's face when u made that post. LoL.
Anyways, once I get my head, intake manifold, throttle body, and pulley, I'm gonna throw it on the dyno for tuning and then obiouvsly to get some numbers.

Hehe I was just like ummm, never had that asked of me before. When we get to Vegas guys (Probably be in the new place in about two weeks) we will be buying a new dyno and shop and trust me I WILL NEVER BE BORED. I will be throwing combinations all over the place. All in due time, pretty soon you are going to be like wow, wow, wow, dyno after dyno.

True, but we are signing on a house this weekend, and our house just sold so that has been priority. Still going to get them out, but it just slowed us up a bit. Ill have your parts to you pretty quick here.

. You think that I am actually that naive about believing the numbers that Honda puts out? Come on, what do you take me for. If there was a dyno facility readily available to me then yes, I would know what numbers are being put out stock. The only issue with that is that Saskatchewan is bigger than Texas and it only has 1 million people total in the province
lease: and that's why I'm asking for outside information. Originally posted by cosmo
I don't need to know what it's running yet, seeing as I just purchased the Si last thursday and the good 'ol beater LX was written off before anything could be done to it

What you mean "what?" I was stating that there arn't that many facilities that do dyno's within a reasonable distance of where I live. Also, I like to research products before I buy them, I remember what happened with the intake manifold that someone was selling on here a while ago, forget the name, that offered "big gains." It lost more power than it made..(not saying your products are the same caliber, just using an example)

I think you are bashing DH, they were going to make a Intake manifold. They were honest when they found out that it would only work good on FI and that the stock intake manifold was best for stock motors. They ended the group buy for them and thats when they designed the throtlebody and bored out the stock manifold to port match it.
Do some research and by a G-tech so you know how much you are getting out of your car. Then when you do buy upgrades you will atleast know if you got any power from it.

How is it bashing a company when I say that I don't want to be in the same situation as those people who purchased the KMS Intake Manifold? It's good when a company is actually honest about the intent for the product. You say research, what do you think I'm tyring to do by asking about dyno's.. Meh, feel free to post another comment guns and keep me posted Josh.
