So what is the difference between the $600 tb combo and the $1115 tb combo? If you plan to turbo which is best?

would there be any clearance issues with a strut bar and a CAI?

<SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION>

Wow, the only thing better would be if I could find a spare intake manifold to send in so my car would not be down and that I could swap out if the emission police catch me.

Ohh, look I found a stock d17 Intake manifold for sale right here on 7thGenCivic.com!

http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...73#post1801373

And it's only $50! And DH will give me $75 off if I supply the manifold! That sounds like a GREAT, "CANT LOSE" DEAL!

the $1115 includes a custom built intake manifold like the one their building for me right now. The $600 is to get your stock manifold bored out and for one of their big *** tb's.

so which would be the better route for a turbo? Is there any point in not getting the custom built intake manifold if you plan to turbo?

Im sure you will see some dyno's soon. I mean people are beginning to dyno the pulley, ported heads, ect...just give it a month or so and more towards the summer dyno's will show up all over. Mike from SF will have his clutch tonight, so be ready to see what the ported head does on the all out pass on the dyno.

Custom I have heard would need the sheet metal because the stock manifold can crumble under pressure, but does hold up pretty well unless you hit some larger amounts of boost. I would suggest our custom manifold for any serious power gainers, well I would recommend it for any setup and so would Dave, but all motor can run the stock manifold as well.

Not with either setup, custom or stock manifold. The TB sits almost in the same place, and as for the custom it actually sits about an inch lower which is awesome because the air going into the TB is about level with the runners so straight on flow.

damn i wish i have the money, Josh will the price always be at this and can i order anytime,
Yup the price will be there, and I'm always cutting breaks, so no worries about that.

Wow, the only thing better would be if I could find a spare intake manifold to send in so my car would not be down and that I could swap out if the emission police catch me.
Emissions? Unless you get caught by the Smog ref on visual this will not make you fail emissions. Can you turn the fuel down and keep it somewhat lean during a emisssion check and no worries. They can almost make you pass, which they try to because they get paid double when you leave there with a certificate.

so which would be the better route for a turbo? Is there any point in not getting the custom built intake manifold if you plan to turbo?
Custom is the way to go overall, because it will be a HIGLY tuned manifold that will be hand ported all the way through. With our TB this will create massive gains.

Hehe sorry just try and put the good stuff out there for you. Manifold combo then the ported head, no use in having a good flowing head with a restrictive throttle body setup.

Weight? The manifold weighs like 5-7 lbs max like 10 with the throttle body. We provide everything. Let me know if you want to go ahead with it. Thanks again

josh btw if the power gains are proven your gonna have so much business....
Just wait and see the results people are screaming about. hehe.

Josh From what i have read so far on this you expect 20-25 whp with the stock intake with the 74mm TB. Don't get me wrong because i want more power but what effect will this have on MPG? It looks like gas prices are going to keep going up so i just wanted to ask. Also same question for the Dual Pulley.

Actually with the oil being regulated, once the economy levels out in the near future prices should come to an all time low. But as for this it wont effect it that much, or course you should up the fuel pressure a little bit, but not enough to show a big diff in refueling

SAFC is a must when you buy our parts. Something you should buy right off the bat.

Project2k2 is on a distinguished road
- 74mm Billet Throttle Body
- Port Matched D17 Intake Manifold (Big Bore Matched)
- TPS Sensor
- TPS Plug and Wiring

^^ That for $600, and why you spend that much on your exhaust that way it's high flowing enough for the air ur gonna put through it.
