a very old pic 1st out of 3 motor swaps, b18a without the nitrous kit yet. i ran a 14.4 with this one. all motor thats with the head milled 40 thousanths, no cams, p/p. that blew up, then i put a 95 b18b in, cracked the cylinder wall on that one with nitrous and now i have a 2001 b18b swap, and i run 14.2 all motor without the cams and headwork 13.7 with a 50 shot. sorry i have no timeslips i can find right now.

lets do some ricer math here. i have a 1900lbs car. 1900lbs divided by 142hp = 13.571 lbs per hp. 00celica6speeds car is 2450lbs divided by 180 hp = 13.61 lbs per hp. assuming we are using an optimal tranny. we run the same times basically. he did an 8.9 or 9 in the 8th and so did i. and thats a 13.9 or 14 second pass in the quarter mile.

actually I weigh 2450 and have 166.5 whp I'm pretty sure a b18 b1 with a 50 shot in a crx could easily run high 13's.
