Octane Boosters in Alcohol Inj?
I was wondering if its possible to use octane booster fluid for Alcohol Inj instead of Alcohol?
Would it have the same effect or make things worse?
Thanks!

Yes octane boosters are meant to go in the fuel tank e.g. a bottle of octane booster mixed up with the whole fuel tank.
But if used in the pure (concentrated) form, by pouring directly into alcohol injection tank, without any mixing, would it do the same as alcohol???

Well that makes sense (depending upon the availability). Do you use methanol in its pure form? or a 50/50 mixture with water?

Where the hell do you buy it that cheap? I buy denatured wood alcohol from home depot for like $3.99 a gallon!
BTW: jwcardy if you read the back label of a can of denatured alcohol it says it is a clean burning fuel......contenets: methanol. So its the same stuff you just pay more for it.

I know that 50/50 is safe I heard 60/40 some-where but I never tried that..... Too much water wont hurt the engine but it will hurt performance. Too much alcohol will still stop detonation but produces too many BTU's and can cause hot spots.

People have been using straight water for years. mixing alcohol w/ the water just helps you gain back any power your loosing from the water while stopping detonation. Alcohol releases more BTU's than gasoline when it burns so too much is bad.........50/50 should be fine.
