Hi, i was wondering is there alot more fabrication and cost going to be if I wanna swap my engine and i have an Auto tranny but want a manual??

well i've searched, but hav not found anything on someone swaping an engine and having an auto, i just wanna know what more is involved...

There is a post with, the name slips my mind, but he swaped has auto for a manual. It ended up being about 550 or so for parts alone. Tally the cost of labor (and I assume you will have this done at a shop) and you are looking at a nice bill. If I were you, buy a torque converter and save yourself the trouble.

i have the same trouble..
i am thinking about getting used d17 and manual swap..
i am not sure but.. engine, manual, turbo will cost about k20 swap or less..
my local shop says $11000 cdn for k20 and manual swap..

what i'm awsking i that when you do a Engine swap is there something different you have to do, i'm not swaping in the same engine i'm going for a k24...

I don't believe that anyone makes mounts for the k24 swap. Although, the way you inquire, it sounds like you would be better off telling a shop what you want then handing them your paycheck. But don't listen to me, go search. =p
