Comparing turbos

Alright guys I know this topic has already been covered but I'm getting pretty close to getting a turbo but I want to get the best one available. Okay basically this site is SF biased but I've run across another turbo setup which looks to be pretty impressive. If any of you have heard anything or know anything about it, please let me know...Turbo Kit

Vs.

SF Kit

okay I noticed the first tubo kit has dyno'd at 185 whp @ 5psi of boost in comparison to SF's 185 whp @ 8psi of boost. Now I know cat has done alot with the SF turbo setup and a few of you other guys have also but just looking at the #'s speaks for itsself. Please your input is very helpful...if you don't feel like posting on here, just link me the tread where this is covered. I remember seeing somewhere this turbo kit was brought up but noone really never eleborated on it....lets do so now....

hey man look at the march edition of HCI and it will give you some info for the HP kit or you can ask me, but if you want to know about the SF kit then talk to catalyst.

i hear that hp kit is stage 1 and you can't go past 5psi......if you wanna up the boost, you then have to buy the stage 2 kit.

yeah there's no mention of a fuel adder, so it seems to rely entirely on the alcohol injection to get that kind of power. not very streetable imo

no that's funny, my kit is the stage 2 basically, and they have only dynoed it at 5 psi. the guy writing the article misunderstood. i talked to them yesterday and they were like "why would we sell a kit that can only go up to 5 psi that's kind of pointless."

I would compare the #'s on the kits, compare what people have said and then try to decide. I don't think that the site is biased against other turbo kits, its that SF has given a lot of support to the site and been helpful to everyone who has it. Isn't the HP new anyways?

i agree. Just try and find out as much as possible about both of them, and then use what you learned to decide. Either way good luck. And keep us updated.
