this question has probably already been answered but...does anyone make a turbo for our cars that passes all emissions tests (CARB) and what not? I've searched but couldn't find much info on that...i know that SF isn't "legal" (if you will) but what about any others?

so then if they don't make a carb legal turbo i'm not gettin one cuz i can't afford any tickets from the po po's

I would asume if you wanted a turbo you wouldn't be obeying all the laws anyway, but that's just me.

Get a turbo and stick with stock exhaust if you must, cops will never bother you. And your car will still be a lot faster.

you know what... the SF kit passes smog with the stock exhaust and cat.... i forgot who smogged it but yea... it passed...

doesn't necessarily mean that the cop that pulls you over won't give you a ticket for it but yea smog really isn't the issure....

hks tried to make a turbo kit for our cars and just ended up making a manifold because their prototype kit couldn't pass smog in California... other big name companies haven't even tried so i guess 2 eprops would go out to hks for effort...
