quick manifold Q?

A quick search on the net shows that cast iron has a higher thermal conductivity than stainless steel does....IE stainless is going to give you less heat eminated into the engine bay. But there are other factors to take into account as well - such as, the cast iron manifold will be thicker, thus it will trap heat better (vs the stainless, which will be thinner, and radiate heat better due to the wall thickness).

our stainless manifolds are 0.200" thick. that is 1/5 of an inch. They WILL NOT crack. We dont make think guage manifolds.
The stainless manifold keeps heat in the exhaust stream. Which is exactly where you want it.
