Rep Power: 303 anyone else with boost have this...?
Ever since I got my flywheel/clutch upgrade and turned up the boost a little...tractions is a nasty problem... I'd I'm going straight, in 2nd gear, then floor it...(even at let's say 20mph), once the turbo spools i start spinning so fast I hit redline... it breaks free at about 4000rpms... I want to say the flywheel/clutch made a huge difference, because I felt a gain, but was my stock clutch that bad? I'm at about 6psi right now, and at about 5psi at redline. The car revs EXTREMELY fast... I'm assuming that's part of the problem, but I didn't expect only 6psi to make that much torque... now that i have the alcy sensor and sprayer installed i think im gonna wait till i get my rims back on until i dare running 9+ lol...

Rep Power: 0 It's a great feeling. Even with the Potenza S-03 Pole Positions I have on the Civic, I can light them up in any gear but 5th just by flooring it. With the stock tires, it was impossible to not light them up everytime I spooled.

Rep Power: 307 The best thing is that you can go about 35mph in second, push in the clutch rev it up all the way and do one hell of a rolling burnout
I scare a lot of reving neons that way.

Rep Power: 0 Your stock clutch really is that bad. I changed mine out right before boost to get it broken in properly. I never even beat on the stock clutch which had 10,000 miles on it. But the difference was pretty big. The ACT held a lot stronger than the stock clutch. Especially in high RPM. And that was without boost. All IMO though.

Rep Power: 303 If you're referring to me, the tires broke free at 4000, not the clutch. I have an ACT clutch and flywheel.

Rep Power: 282 Get a limited slip diff, stiffen up the chassis, and check the tires for air pressure.
That should help you hook up much better. What good is all that power with out the traction.
