it spools so high up in the rpm range it seems like it only has boost for a second and then he has to shift right then but when the boost hits it hits

Actually the reason for the spiking is due to the tires breaking loose. That is why his mph jump. The mph are measured by the tires spinning hence why you can get a mph readout on a dyno. Next time you're on ice or in the snow, mash the gas and look at your speedo. You'll get some crazy readout of a higher speed then you are actually traveling. It's kinda funky.

I do that on dry pavement lol. Can hit 80, and be doing about 20-25 haha...

but yeah that car is only good fro dragging, not daily driving or full course racin, mad hard to control...
