Hey turbo 7th gen guys. I'm hella confused on how to launch with a boosted 7th gen. When you rev up to your launching rpm, do you rev with wide open throttle? Cause doesn't the turbo not spool up unless ur using wide open throttle? Or do you guys just launch lets say just put a lil pressure on the pedal till it gets to 3500? Also...what technique do you guys use to launch? Thanks for the help

Well I dont have turbo but you dont have to be in WOT to spool up the turbo. I guess launch at about 3,000 rpm feather the clutch out then punch on it when u get traction

You have to pulse the gas. Rev it to about 4000 using WOT, then let off til it gets to say 2800 then go WOT again. Keep this up til you launch.

lol yea i usually let them take me off the line cause if i drop it at 2k i just spin tires.l..

i just go easy off the line and then SLAM SECOND And Third...

by the time i hit 3rd tho the race is usaully won.

yeah i did that to an integra last night... it was a joke lol... left it in 2nd at 20mph and let him go past me...kept it floored... the turbo spooled, he stopped gaining, and i flre by him as if he wasn't racing lol
