I havent used a full bottle yet, just got the NoS installed this last fall, and well its winter now 
As for the line i ran mine inside down the driver side and being mine is AT, i drilled a hole where the Clutch master would be if it were MT and ran the hose thru a gromet there.

Route Feed Line and Bottle Heater Wires. The installer chose a rubber grommet located on the passenger side of the firewall to route the NX feed line from the engine compartment to the trunk. He then fed it under the carpet and into the trunk area. (Note: Experience has taught the installer to attach the wires that are to be used for the bottle heater to the feed line to save time from having to feed it separately.)
