To those of you who have installed a turbo - how did you install the IAT sensor on the charge pipe? The factory mounting is on the plastic airbox, but it doesn't screw in or anything - it just presses in with a rubber grommet and locks into place. How is the IAT sensor mounted on your charge pipe without blowing out or leaking under boost (if its just plastic)? I'm curious to know what the setups are....

I've checked on majestic honda's site - it appears that the grommet that it mounts around can come out. Unless anyone has any better ideas, I'm thinking I might just drill a hole in the charge pipe, install the grommet, and silicone it in, as you've done oso.....
Zinky, did you even reconnect it to the intake? If not, its not a good idea to do that - the ECU reads the temperature of the air coming into the engine and uses it (along with many of the other sensors) to adjust the air / fuel ratios.....

hmm...that code would be coming from the map sensor not the IAT. Can anyone back this up for me?

the MAP code makes the car slamm on its face instantly, the code we are saying that comes from the IAT, just says that the atmospheric pressure does not equal that of the pressure going into the IM, it doesnt affect the drivability at all its just annoying, if i can get that code to go off that will be the last of the codes
