Type S Revo short shifter
Currently, I am piecing together all the miscellaneous parts for a K20A2 swap and I have a question I am hoping someone can help me with. If I buy the Revo short shifter assembly will I not need the RSX shifter assembly or are there some pieces on the OEM part that are still needed? Also, are the shift points on the K and D17 trannys close enough that I could use the Type S short shifter with the D17. I assume the sixth gear position would be reverse and the reverse position would not be used. I did a real quick search, but didn't find anything. Sorry, I'm real busy.

Ok, It looks like no parts are needed from the OEM Type S shifter assembly if you have the Revo. I still don't know about using the Type S revo with the D17, though.

Its the same shifter for the 01-04 civics and 02-04 RSXs. You can use the shifter. And you should have nothing to modify to get the shifter to work for gears 1-6 and reverse.

its a great shifter by the way. I've had mine for over a year....and I'm lovin' it!! Some people don't like the feel of it though. But IMO and in my B/f's opinion (who recently tried it for the first time) it's awesome.
