NoS minus the NoS ?

Anyone ever run NoS with the valve closed so all your getting is extra fuel?

im just wondering that if u played with the fuel jet that you could get increases in HP without the use of the nos. Sorta like bigger injectors?

All you are doing is running rich, thats a retarded idea. Because there isen't more oxygen to compinsate for the additional fuel, thus the additional fuel burns poorly and people will see dark smoking coming from your tail pipe, plus you will fail emmisions.. You will lose horsepower if you do this.

Not sure if you can adjust the jets on the nitrous the same but I've use a wideband and tuned my fuel without the turbo under 75 percent throttle or higher and it actually makes for better throttle response. Remember, these cars were made to conserve fuel.

Well for Sh*t's and giggles today i installed the 30hp jets in the nozzel and took it for a spin...... Automatic trans mind you 2nd gear take off , at around 3000 RPM I FLOORED it, THEN flicked the switch on for the Nos with the Bottle OFF! and i noticed a surge in HP just shy of what i did with the Nos ON. ZERO BLACK CLOUDS out the exhaust! Im going to maybe try the next larger Fuel jet and try it again. BTW I checked the Plugs just after the run, looked clean no rich condition that i could see. I'm kind a curious how it would run down the 1/4 mile on just the extra shot of gas?

Test car = 01' AT, injen CAI, and DC sports TCS exhaust

Yep, that's about right. Just be careful. Rich conditions over time can wash out your rings. I wouldn't give too much extra fuel unless you have a good a/f reading off of a wideband. Yeah, I guess it is kind of stupid <note my sarcasm> to think that adding fuel can give a better response and any noticeable gains lease:

Agreed. If anyone actually thinks flooding your engine is a good idea they need to be taken aside and have the mechanics of an engine explained to them, or shot.

Whom said anything about FLOODING an engine? I sure didnt. What i was trying to get at is sometimes peopel add larger injectors for increase fuel, and by me running JUST fuel on the nos maybe , just maybe it was acting on the same principal. I was just trying to spark some thought and get input from others. But WTF was i thinking you obviously know alot more about air fuel ratios and what will and wont work

Don't sweat it bro. Some people think they know everything there is to know about everything just so that they can feel important. You know what adding that little extra fuel did, doesn't matter what anyone else "thinks."
