What do I Need...
What do I Need...
Ok, I know there have been posts blah blah blah. But i want info from someone that knows what they are talking about or someone who has this done. I have a '03 Civic Ex 1.7 vtec, 5 Speed. I wanna do the SF Turbo, got my pennies saved, I see you can buy the BOV and send it to SF and they will install it etc.
I need to know what else i need to do, will this be ok on my stock motor, what do i need for gauges etc. Do i have to mess with my clutch, flywheel, interior motor components, what I need for ECU components etc. If someone could be nice enough to respond, I appreciate it, I wrote SF but they have yet to respond, i figured they are busy as hell cause of the holidays. Thanx peeps!

do i need anything else for gauges etc? I dont have to get a boost controller etc etc? for interior motor mods i meant, like the head, pistons, etc Or is that ok with the turbo. I only have 7000 miles on the motor and dont wanna put this money into the engine and have it go to **** after a yr or two. Thanx

-boost controllers are nice
-boost guage makes it easier to read in US measurements
-timer is good, otherwise just dont beat on it right before u shut it off, or just sit there for like a minute
-EGT is good, but i dont have one
-clutch is a good thing
-INTERNAL engine mods, u can but u dont have to
-flywheel dont mess with
-ECU u already have one just leave it alone

boost controllers should only be used by people who are familiar with turbo cars. This is because some people like to turn it up, and they may go a little far.
Also, get a/f ratio guage, boost guage, and a turbo timer.
