I got your note. I left a message with Stafford, so he should be calling you soon. You left at 11:30? I got there at about 11:45 - 12:00. Look for a PM, i think it was a huge mixup.

another mix up? last weekend i was supposed to have my kit installed but they said they mixed up the dates. and now i was supposed to have installed tomorrow but my pipes arent done...i'm sure SF makes excellent kits, i hear nothing but good things about them but i'm starting to question the way they handle their business...

We would have had everything, but we depend on other companies as well. And they flaked on us and left with your guys' pipes.

not trying to flame here on 18secQuaterMile or KingTorq .. but in Catalyst's defense ... you people need to realize you are dealing with a specialty market that has to rely on a big corporate company for parts and if you have been in this business you will understand and know that they often dont ship things when they say the will... making the shop guys look bad.. lets all face it.. a huge company in cali or wherever isnt going to give two craps about our cars or our time they dont care if you drive an Enzo or are a doctor... its the guys who you deal with personally who do care.. and a lot of there problems are out of their control... so the next time you get pissed off about not having something in on time or being rescheduled... make sure its the shops fault 100% before you blow up on them... take it from someone who has been in this situation many a times... its not cool to be tore a new one for something that is completely out of your control...

i'm not hating or flaming on anyone, i completely understand that accidents happen that are beyond their control. my dad used to own his own business and i remember how frustrated he would be when things didnt come in on time when he told the customer they would be. catalyst has been nothing but helpful and answers all my PM's. its just that since this is the busy time of year and my job cant keep giving me days off, i'm 1 or 2 people in my dept. so that puts stress on everyone and when i keep taking days off my paycheck gets smaller and smaller. this is the main reason i'm upset, not at catalyst or SF, but at the fact i'll have no money. just so everyone knows, i do promote SF, they seem to the best out there, thats why i chose to go with their kit but having to re-reschedule is a hard thing to do with my job.
agreed ... rescheduling a working day for an off day is hard with my job from now until about spring ... however, SF -was- able to accomodate me for installing a turbo kit in my car ... if only my boost controller worked properly ... >

sf has it goin on man.. they just dont make everything themselves, like every company doesnt... things arent ALWAYS gonna be on time or be perfectly set up, its the nature of the bussiness.. youre getting a FULLY custom turbo kit here man, it isnt like its a greddy and theres 3000 in a warehouse... these are made individually... and SF wont go cheap on quality, so they have to get it done by the best, and the best takes time sometimes... sux, but its just the truth.... and yeah... worth the wait, FOR SURE.. i waited 2 months for my kit when they were REALLY backed up, and i didnt like it, but i understood..

I hope no one thought of my post as flaming anyone because that wasn't my intentions... I just know from experience having a shop that it is a frustration to not be the cause of the problem but be the blame... I wish we had more customers like all of you who understand and have learned patience...

Catalyst, if you got there 15 mins after i left, you should have called me on my cell (the number was on the note, thats why i left it). No worries though, whats done is done. I got the PM, and appreciate your help.
Snakey, no worries, i don't take it as a flame. I can understand trouble delivering product when working with outside suppliers, venders, and producers. I can certainly understand the need to reschedule as needed. The only thing that bugs me, was that i was never contacted (phone or email) to reschedule. I confirmed the date/time at least three times, and showed up on time, and waited 2.5 hours, in all I wasted 5 hours (with travel included), that could have all been avoided. That’s why im sore.
I emailed SF a request for my deposit back. Maybe I am **** about this, but I feel crapped on, and no longer wish to proceed in this direction.

maybe you're having some second thoughts about getting the kit but lemme tell you in my honest opinion, it is THE BEST mod i have on my car... it's like night and day and i'll tell you that you won't regret it as long as you take care of it and have fun...
