update on car

just wanna update you all on the status of the car... it's still at kms, still, still, still. STILL OMG.

anyway, i need bigger injectors but dont know where to look because i don't want to mod the rail or mod anything to fit right. Has anyone used rsx-s injectors and do those fit perfect? Also, how much did you all get your greddy e-manage for? I need to buy one of those too... so much money... i hope I hit low 12's... if i dont catalyst will slap me. one last thing... anyone live near atlanta that knows a good tuner?? thanks...

I got my emanage for $300. RSX injectors don't flow much more than our injectors. I would assume they would fit either way though. Venom will custom build injectors from the OEM design, so they will fit. Same price as RC (but RC don't fit without modification).

reason i ask is because im low on funds so i was thinking of just getting the safc for now until i got more money to get injectors and return system done then the emanage as the final step.

the vafc2 prevents detonation or just shows if detonation is going on?
if the vafc 1 i have doesnt tune a/f and i need the safc, will both the vafc and safc work at the same time?
just have vafc control vtec and afc control air fuel?
will vafc/safc combo be sufficient enough to run a fully internal modded engine until i get the injectors and do the return setup with emanage?

a lot of questions and thanks for any help you can provide!

Plus i have some Venom 310cc injectors for a 2001 civic if you want to buy them. For some reason they will not work on my car. I put them in and the car starts wigging out, will not rev over 3500rpm's (it goes into protect mode). I think the reason the dont work on my car is because its an HX. But if you want them i have them

Okay a few things....

I have the v-afc II
V-afc II can change air fuel every 100 rpms awesome for tuning
It does not have knock detection...or at least I have not found it yet if it does

You cannot simply put larger injectors in the car....You need some kind of unit to manage the fuel system...If you don't your car will idle and run like crap b/c the engine is getting more fuel and cannot manage it properly....

2nd best way
SF fuel kit

Best Way
Convert your car to a return fuel system
This is what I did
I bought a Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump, Cartech FMU(rising rate fuel pressure management, goes in series with the stock fuel pressure regulator, this is available for NA cars and boosted cars), Steel Braided lines and various fittings and I had a steel nipple welded on the end of the fuel rail....(find someone who is very good at welding to do this)
For the rest of info on this PM me or consult showtymes DIY that's what i used

Now, I can put 310cc injectors in without any problem at all....(at least I hope )

Yeah, i have an S-AFC to contorl the injector pulse when i put the larger injectors in and it made no difference. And i do have the return fuel-systerm with NOS fuel pressure regulator , and a walbro 255lph pump at the time i put the injectors in and it made no diffcerence either.

With the NOS system, bigger injectors is not going to make much a difference...it's just an insurance against problems....
However, in a turbo car, they will allow you to run more boost b/c of the extra fuel...

BTW the V-afc is the same thing as the S-afc but allows vtec changeover points to be modified...Do you have an lx? B/c if you have an ex there is no reason not to get the v-afc...

i have the vafc but didnt notice any change when i changed the wide throttle setting... is that the right one? i was using my air/fuel to monitor it and didnt see a change at all even at drastic measures... either the a/f meter sucks or im doing something wrong... ??

Check the impedence of the injectors you are using. This may impact how the fuel is being delivered. Throwing on injectors that flow higher #'s isn't going to help much if your ECU can't interpret the loads...
