it is possible thats probably why Catalyst wants to take a look at it....Something is definitely wrong everyone runs 10-12 lbs. daily and mine had 8 lbs. boost spike and it fried....Civic808 blew a wrist pin but not his rings and he was boostin alot more than me.....but today im gonna take apart the block and really take a look at it...do some compression testing and what not b-cuz i don't wanna spend $3000 and find out all I had to do was buy better spark plugs and some octane boost....see when i pulled my spark plugs a day later #1, #3, #4 plugs the tips were blown off and there was oil on #3 and #4...im thinking too low on octane and the reason for oil on the plugs is oil drained into the chamber and there was no spark to ignite it, the oil wasn't accessive...we'll see i'm just trying to be optimistic and $3000 richer....

Well I was wrong...the rings are gone...b-cuz I used regular unleaded gas instead of high octane, my spark plugs blew and the pieces fell into the chamber and ruptured all three rings on the pistons.....DamN! all b-cuz of gas.....well lesson learned!!!!

I'am very new to boosting car so I have a few more questions =p. What are the advantages/disadvantages to having a manual vs. eletronic boost controller? Also, when I the boost is set at 3500rpm is that when is starts working or when it hits full spool? Thanks guys

well i'm happy cuz it wasnt the electronic boost controller (i bought a GReddy PRofec B) but it sucks cuz your car is down. well fix it and dont forget the 91 octane this time!

my turbo timer has a built in 1/4 mile timer, i dont know how accurate it is though but if i get my kit sat. i will let you know sun.
