SOHC Heads are simple. They require you to pull the valve cover, remove all wiring and hoses connected to the head, remove intake manifold from the head, and remove head bolts. I am doing this based on older gens, but I beleive it shuoldn't be much different with the new gen models.
so you could find a core head, PnP, send it to me, and i send you my core head? How much all together would that be? I get confused with all the numbers, haha, but once i get more cash on hand i'd definately be willing to try it. would there be a way you could include a reground cam? If i sent my core in also?

Cam would be $300 with a core any way you like it. We normally get around 30 wheel Hp on NA setups with our ported head. They have lots of goodies, like polished combustion chambers, high flow polished valves, milling, ect.... to be the icing on the cake. Right now I dont have anyone who wants to sell their D17 head so cores would be around $350 being I might have to go to Honda for a Brand new head. I can buy yours when you send it to me afterwards. Let me know. Thanks everyone

Thought so, didn't think to say it till I posted that. Ehhh, we don't really open the intake entrance we utilize the interior of the port for power while on the exhaust side it is greatly larger then stock. Should be pretty close to perfect. Valve job will be done. Let me know. Thanks again everyone

Question, do you guys put the heads on a flow bench to see if there is a difference in flow?

We know they flow better, I and Dave have never believed in a flow bench because they don't show "Flow Quality" anyone can cut a hole to make it better flow it and show gains in velocity and volume of air moving through the opening, but the quality behind it is where the numbers come from. Everyone knew that Mike from SF gained .7 in the 1/8 and really should now be running 12's. The ported head made all the difference in the world. I got some people about to get the head so it will be proven over and over again :-)
You want to send me your head I wil do it for $650 how's that sound.
Does this price apply for a k20a3? If it does i will be sending my head into you soon. I guess i can wait for 3 weeks for it.
