SF Turbo kit safe?

I'm thinking about getting the SF turbo kit. I've heard about all the great things about them but I wanna know if the kit is safe for the engine on a long run. How many psi should I do for maximum performance in daily driving condition? Will it ruin my engine someday? Will I need some kinda extra engine maintenance? I just wanna make sure cause this 7thgen is the only car I have for the next 4-5 years (I drive roughly 20000 miles/year and mostly highway miles). If I **** up the engine I won't have any money to get a new engine or a new car. That would suck!!!! That's my question for now. Thanks for all the advice!!

Dude, a new engine for our cars costs less than $500. Are you telling me that you can't afford that after you found a way to drop 3 grand on a turbo?

jwcardy is on a distinguished road
a slightly used engine on ebay is roughly around 500 bucks. if he dont know much about the kit since that is basically the main conversation on the website, then i doubt that he know about the cheap engines that he could get. catalyst has proven that the kit is safe for everyday use. read up on all the threads to get a better knowledge of it.

oh and i am about to get the kit too, but i have you beat on the miles. i bought mine christmas 01. but a 2002 model and i have 75,000 miles on it

Daily driving at about 5-7 psi will give your car a very long life.

Your engine is not built for a turbocharger. One case of overheating can wear away a ring. Keep that in mind, it doesn't take much at all.
