anybody with basic knowledge of some mechanics can do it.....but if u don't trust urself then see if u know somebody that can help u......i wouldn't take it to a garage unless u really don't know what u are doing. But u can go to the DIY section to check it out to see what is involved.
Damn it man. The 7th? Well, I still cant afford it, so I'll have to pass this GB up again. I'm still going to save up and hopefully when I have enough, SF would have made enough money they will just give me one. One question though: What is the hardest part of the install if done by yourself or with someone? Thanx and good luck on the GB.

i haven't done the install yet, but i would think drilling and tapping the oil pan would be the hardest, plus u have to weld the bung......and this really isnt' that hard. I looked over the DIY and it seems pretty easy.

I believe tha hardest part of the install is removing the oil pan and drilling it. It is not soo much hard, but some people get really nervous when they have to take a drill to their car.
We do not have a permanent web site up yet. We have a temporary one, but it cannot withstand the bandwidth that it will need. But it is in the works, we already have a server lined up, so it will not be too much longer before it is all up and running.

you do not have to weld anything. It now comes with a flange. You drill a 3/4" hole and 3 smaller holes for some bolts. Then you slide this fitting into the hold and bolt it down. THere is no tapping or welding.

is the sf turbo really stable and what is the cost normally because i dont think i can make it to the group buy because i have to get college app in and see what college i get in to thanks and is there any cheaper kits i really want turbo and i think i can convince my dad to get one i just need to make sure it wont screw up anything when i go for an oil change at honda
1. if you get an oil change at honda, turbo may not be a good idea.
2. you get what you pay for in regards to turbos, keep that in mind
3. turbo voids your warranty entirely. would your dad say yes to that

I took mine into honda after the turbo. I told them not to drive it. And they tried to drive it away, but my turbo timer was what was keeping it running, and i had the keys. It was really funny when the car just suddenly died. I just walked away and let them push it.
They also polished up all my intercooler piping, cleaned the engine bay, etc. And all i brought it in for was an oil change.

My Honda said turbo or no turbo, they're going to take care of warranty work anyway. Inlcuding the tranny. I got lucky I guess.
