rsx-s need help with build up
hey everybody, I'm the proud new owner of a k20A2 engine in my 01 civic. Now that its in there, I want to turbo or supercharge. I know JR makes a supercharger, but it only adds 40HP@5psi, thats kind of weak for $4000.00+ is there a way to up the boost on a supercharger? If not, on to turbo questions. Who makes custom turbo kits for the rsx-s engine. Lastly, what needs to be done to the engine to bulletproof it? I'm looking for 275hp with boost, then a 50 shot of N2O on top of that for a hp total of 325, where do I begin with internals/ who do I talk to?
I'm assuming I'll need a metal head gasket, pistons, rods, bigger fuel injectors and a whole lot more I'm not even thinking of-
I'm planning on using Greddy E-Manage to control the boost/fuel/air, etc- is there a better engine air/fuel/boost/nitrous manager than that one? My car will be for daily street drive
any advice would be helpful. I currently have $6000 budget to work with, I realize I might need more, but at least that can get the engine internals done and possibly some other needed stuff, I suppose I could bulletproof the engine first and than bolt on a turbo shortly thereafter when more money comes in.
thanks!

Try looking at hondawerx.com and look at there project civic with the k20. It pushes 400hp turbo only. Yes the jr supercharger does seem pretty weak. Cybernation makes a great turbo kit for the k20. Greddy also makes one but it seems there needs to be a little more r&d with the kit. There is definetly a better fuel computer than the e-manage like the AEM EMS. Your right on track with the buildup but i would add sleeves and head studs(probaly cost around 4000+ for a complete build up). Mabe convert to a return style fuel system.

We have a civic in here right now with the K20 out of a Type S. We are turbocharging it and are going to produce a turbo kit for the K20's in the 7thgen's.
So if you wait a little, you will be able to have the quality of our 7thgen turbo kit on that K20.
