K20A3 Swap

okay I got a automatic but I want a manual transmission and i aint happy with my engine
I live in alberta, CANADA (nothing but cows and hicks)
I want the k20a3 in my car
I got a 2003 Civic Coupe Si (same as "EX" in the US)
I heard people have done this swap and i was wondering...........

--------------------------------
1.)How much would cost of the engine be ? in US $ or CAN$?
What additional parts do I need? and cost?
Does the swap come with the" 6-Speed manual Tranmission"?
Would I get any value for the engine i have for in car? (if anyone is wondering its the Ex 127-HP SOHC VTEC........ that comes with the car)

2.)It would be a waste of $$$ if i just swapped the transmissions right?

3.) If i got a new exhaust before the swap..... would there be any problems?
what is the best exhuast i could get my car for max perforamnce (HP WISE)?

4.) Does anyone know how to install those Honda emblems that glow blow at night when u have ur headlights on?
where do the wires go?
-----------------------

Thx FOR REPLIES

1.) k20a3 the US civic Si (160 horses) costs around $3000 US, and you should be able to buy the engine with all the accessories included (ECU, harness, etc), but you'd have to buy the engine mount from hasport.com ($600 US)

the swap doesn't come with 6-speed, you'd have to buy the k20a2 engine (US rsx type s engine 200 horses) which costs around $4000-$5000.

2.) it wouldn't be a real waste to swap from auto to manual, but you shoulda done that at the dealership when u bought the car, manual's are cheaper than autos, so in a sense you'd be wasting money if you bought the auto and swapped in a manual tranny. I'd just take your car back to the dealer and ask for a manual one and they might even pay you back the difference! ^_^

3.) There might be a problem. I think everyone's who's done the swap, just used the RSX-S exhaust. But for our cars, it's not a matter of which exhaust is the best, all of em work, but you have options of whether or not you want cat-back or just the exhaust tip or custom, or whatever. I have tanabe and I love it, i'd highly recommend it.

4.) no clue...don't get it ... too ricey! imo
