whatever u want as long as u have the fuel to supply it with. also if u sleeve it, what would be the point of a block guard, in my opinion NOT AT ALL

what would be the first thing to replace so you can a little more boost safely? like if running 8 psi daily is safe, if you were to run 9-10, what would be first thing to wear out or break?....or would pretty much everything go out in one big bang?

First thing.....just because you want more boost, you don't need a new headgasket. Catalysts blew not because he ran too much boost but because his engine overheated....mine did the same thing. I would keep an oem headgasket, that way, with a built motor when I have problems, that's the first thing to go before I do any serious damage. Kind of like having a weak link.
As far as sleeving goes, check out this link...http://www.goldeneaglemfg.com/sleeves.htm. When you sleeve the block, there's no need for a block guard.
I agree with platcruiser 100% about having more fuel, it's a must. The way I'm planning to go once I build my motor is converting to return style, this way I can regulate fuel pressure better and get my system tuned for more boost. Also, you'll probably want bigger injectors and an fpr for return fuel system.
Tranny, your stock clutch isn't going to last long on 10+ psi of boost. You'll need a new one sooner or later.
Axles. Again, it won't be long before it snaps. If you're pushing that much hp to the wheels, you'll need an axle rated to handle it.
While you're at it, having work done to the head is a great idea. Port and polish along with new cam and cam gear and valves will help out greatly.
