If i were to buy the k20A Engine that www.hybridgarage.com sells for 4800.. is that all iam going to need to do the sawp or will i need more things...if i need more things can you please name them and how much more money them things will costs.

ill take it easy on you cuz i was a newbie once. theres plenty of info so search for k20 engines on here. with the engine you will also need the mounts, axels, ecu, tranny, all wire harnesses. thats all i can think of right now cuz its late. you should get all that stuff with the engine if its a complete swap. on installation cost its about $7000-$10000 for engine and installation. please search to find more info and welcome to the site.

there is a shop in cali that charges 7 grand for a total swap k20a2 and all installation

It's really not that much extra work to change auto to manual if he's gonna do the entire swap. We did an auto to manual swap in an accord when we put an H22 in and it wasnt bad at all.

i have an auto ex and want to do a swap and change it to manual sooooo bad but not in a situation to do it right now...
i kno that my rents are not gonna approve so i don't even bother askin. I wish i was an adult so i can do watever i want with my car. I can't wait till i graduate. anyways, go to http://hondawerx.com/kseriesswapparts.htm. They have all the parts you need to do the swap.

i just dont understand why u would do a swap this early, even if u had a good 70,000 miles on your car, i still say thats stupid, to go through all that hastle when in reality u could just pay pretty close to the same money and get an RSX-S. The only benefit is you will be alot faster than then they think, id still rather save up for an RSX-S.

hey i was wondering i wanted to know if u get a k20 sawped in ur car....wat typ of axles will u have....could u tell u gat a k20 bye looking at the lugs? like will a k20 a (type R) jdm have 5 lugs or can it have 4?...sorry for the stupid question but i have no time to look it up my self so i figure someone here most know....

why not turbo the d17? u can get nice numbers out of that and it will coast much less. build ur d17 and turbo it ull be surprised with the numbers...

I have a 01 auto EX...I plan on getting the K20A swap next year. When I get the motor, do i have to get the pedal assembly, shift linkages, slave cylinder, etc off the RSX DC5 or will any pedal assembly and shift linkages work? I did try searching but i dont see anything on this.
