S2000s arent drag racers. Nor is the Z. The Z is only a bit faster than a GT Mustang, Same goes for the S2000. You wont see them break into 13s stock. They will be along the lines of 14.2-14.6, but I have seen people with the SF power kit running 13s so it is entirely concievable that he would obliterate a S2000 or a 350Z. DOHC VTEC? That doesnt have anything to do with anything, all that does is increase the performance at a certain RPM... its not like they have 240HP plus VTEC as if it adds a magical amount of invisible horsepower. 240HP +VTEC is still only 240HP.

And as far as the EVO 8, the EVO is only going to be able to kick *** if he takes him from a Dig. If they raced from like 5 MPH the EVO is actually at a disadvantage because the AWD would slow him down.

4 AWD is all about launch? They can take most turns at full throttle too... Ever try to run a lightly modified S4? Let me know how you feel about your statement after you do.

Actually none of the cars you get from the dealers are drag cars... Drag cars don't like to take turns.... And all three of these cars you listed are stock high 13 second cars. Let's put the slowest one in the picture. S2000 Quarter Mile Time (Super Street Tested)

As for killing them, I doubt. Beating them is definitely possible, but it requires a good connection between you and your car.

DOHC VTEC doesn't have anything to do with anything??? It doesn't just increase the performance at certin RPM. It does a lot more than that, especially for boosted Hondas. That is the sole reason why VTEC controllers are so popular in the f/i honda world. VTEC can actually make the little 4 banger breath like the bigger displacement motors. So, no, 240HP plus VTEC is not the same as 240HP without... It isn't just the peak 240HP that matters, it is the power through out the whole rpm range that matters.

Since you bought up the same peak hp theory, let's look at the classic example of Vortech vs JRSC argument. A GSR with 325 whp Vortech equipped motor runs 13's while the same intake and exhaust stream JRSC GSR with 260 whp runs 12's. Can anyone tell me why? Look at the dyno curve through out the whole rpm range... When you drive, you are never at redline for more than 1 second. I am sure you noticed that your motor spends most of its time below redline.

If you had your pick, would you take a 325 whp 13 second GSR or a 260 whp 12 second GSR? There are no events that give out prices to the car with the highest wheel hp. So think about it before you start comparing cars just with hp. Not to mention the correct power to weight ratio, gear ratio, and suspension setup. That is the classic example of being a dyno queen. Let's try not to put yourselves into that category.

So, to point out your misinfo, VTEC is the one thing that give 4 banger hondas the edge to compete with those bigger diplacement motors (not boosted). It's design of 2 stage IM allows larger air flow increase without losing the little torque the 4 bangers have left. With forced air, lower VTEC engagment points will allow boosted Hondas to make more power through out the whole rpm range, which is what makes VTEC so important to Hondas going really fast.

I never got any new videos because i spent more than half the day in the shop fixing something. But anyway, I take my camera everywhere now so if I get something good, youll see it. =) lemme edit my take off with the evo and ill also post the race with my friends rsx-s... we were going uphill and i had ppl in my car along with all my tools....
