Fuel pump for a turbo car
hey i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a bigger after market fuel pump????...holley?????......does anyone know who makes it for our cars?????....thanks..
Turbo....talk to Mike at SF, they have a vortech fmu that adjusts fuel pressure on returnless fuel systems when it detects boost. It's a really nice alternative to anything else on our cars.

you DO NOT want to add an aftermarket pump to your fuel system, unless you are using our fuel system (which already has one in it). Unless you run a return line system and get the engine management to run it, you will not be able to run an aftermarket pump because it will raise the fuel pressure ALL THE TIME. so at idle you will have the same pressure as when your making 10 psi of boost. That is bad, because your car will not even start. Thats why we had to develop our fuel kit. It only raises the presssure as you go into boost, and it raises it more and more as you make more boost.

well the guy said that its an inline fuel pump and its made specifically for our cars.....he said that it goes inbetween the lines....i dont know i dont know **** about fuel system...hahaha...yeah but thats what he was telling me.....
you can use the bbk one for the 92-95 civics that summit sells.
all you have to do is use a defferent line from the pump itself to the res. (about 10 inches) I just did mine earlier this week.
I think its like 129.00

Well if the pump doesn't adjust fuel pressure it isn't going to do you much good. You need to get more fuel somehow. By just using bigger injectors, it's hard to get a smooth idle.
it doesn't adjust fuel pressure but if you are using n2o
or a turbo, it is a good idea to have more fuel before the regulator
than to not have enough. especially if you are going to be dumping
that much more. just changing the injectors won't supply more fuel
they willl just need more
