seperate issue- I may be screwed on my poor d17 engine and hondas warranty program, looking at $1500-1800 out of pocket to fix engine- anyway, if I do end up getting screwed and have to pay the way I see it is that the 1500-1800 is half way to a k20 sway, so why fix the old one, right??

ok, probably a dead horse by now, but I've been away for 5months (joined the army) and am back and dont have too much time to do a whole bunch of research, I need to get my car going asap

is it as simple as getting hasport mounts and dropping in the new k20 engine, or are all sorts of other things needed to be done to get it to mate up to my 5spd tranny and drivetrain, axels, etc??

someone please point me in the right direction with what is needed or who does a complete swap job start to finish, thanks!!!

FOr the complete swap you need the tranny from the k20. Everything from the k20. The wiring is also different. You may want someone to do it for you, whick may be a little more. You can go to www.hybridgarage.com and see everthing that comes with a swap. You can also email them and ask technical questions like this one to them.

I could have sworn that the k20 was a motor and not some kind of forced induction... perhaps the creator of this thread should reconsider where they post
