is it worth the money to buy a turbocharge?
how many hp can i gain by using turbo?

You could gain around 100whp+ just using a kit without upgrading internals. That would put you around 200+ whp at 8-9psi. The kits that are being sold are set for 6psi, so you'd put out about 160+whp (60+whp extra), but it can be turned up if you buy a boost controller. I think it's worth the money.

That's just assuming that their fuel systems are capable of providing the correct fuel at a pressure higher than 6psi. I'm assuming they do.

i had mine up to 18 psi the other day. but it was for less than 2 mins. and i was using C10 racegas.
( i was trying to school some little ricer kid why not to mess with stock looking cars )

he probably meant 100 octane


Edit** oh you mean what does he use normally....yea im curious and i dont remember reading it in one of the threads? What gas octane do you use know with say the basic kit?

you need to use higher octane fuel to prevent detonation... 91+ octane... maybe a lil octane booster will make the car feel a bit better...

I just use Chevron's 91 octane. Other than Unical, Chevron has the best gas.

I just put C10 in there to teach someone a lesson.

Lesson: Dont **ck with stock looking cars. Especially when you dont have sh*t.
