I'll try to post up some pictures and videos of the exhaust in the next couple days.
Just as a note, I wouldn't waste your time with 2 1/4" piping. That's too small for the K-series. I'd keep it 2 1/2" as a minimum and wouldn't shy away from 3". From everything I read, the K-series motors will take whatever you can throw at them. There's not a huge power advantage on a stock motor going from 2 1/2" to 3", but there's also no negative impact. If you're planning any future upgrades (cams, turbo, etc) you will thank yourself for doing a 3" and not having to redo your exhaust.
That's why I went 3". No negative impact now, and I'll get the most out of future mods. I only want to deal with fabricating a custom exhaust once for this car lol. If you look at a lot of the guys on clubrsx they are running 3" or 2 1/2" exhaust on N/A cars with only bolt ons and maybe cams.

Also, I would definitely pick up a resonator too. Even with the muffler and resonator it is loud under WOT since it's so large and straight flowing.

No problem. If you don't plan to go forced induction or build the motor N/A I might just stick with 2 1/2". The 3" has been great and I don't feel like I'm losing any low end, but after driving around for a few weeks it's a bit of a pain with how low it hangs. Definitely not the best for ground clearance.

No, we have the same fuel system type as the K series. I had to make no modifications to the fuel system at all. Just had to plumb the stock fuel line to the new fuel rail which required some high pressure line and some fuel line fittings.

I been trying to do some reasearch idk if it only applies to the k20 but k24a4 from accord might? You think you can help me find out on this?

Been looking at ur post for quite a while now, wondering what kind of power steering hose were you using? And did you have to swap out the rack and pinion?

Thanks! I missed this post last week lol. Yeah everything went smooth for my first swap ever. Still have some things to clean up though... I just got super busy with visits for graduate school, work, and finals. Should have a couple weeks to sort things out though now.

You retain the stock steering rack. You run RSX P/S lines. I used the RSX high pressure line from the start and ran a custom return line to the pump, but I am swapping out the custom line for the RSX return line this weekend. Custom line is too much of a pain.

Yes, if you run stock ECU it has to be reflashed at Honda. Also, everything else has to match... ECU, harness, engine, etc.

It has to match the engine to be able to run it without Kpro. It can be from the junk yard, but you need to make sure and get the VIN from the car it came from because the Honda dealership will need it to access the ECU.

Awsome u helped me out a lot on this really appreciated, got my compression level up on my k24, when I was looking at my fuel injector on it I was wondering why it looked diffrent. From the d17, it only has 1 port on fuel rail while d17 has 2

hey speed just wanted to ask if you would know if the stock k24a4 ecu from an 05 honda accord clip right in into my exsisting wires within the dash behind the glove. lets say for speedometer and coolant temp whatever it is. i had asked hybri-racing about a conversion harness and they stated they do not have one avalible for our car? any hints, tricks tips? i just want a stock ECU for that respective motor that will clip right in. thanks again been a big help.

If you want to buy an adapter harness, I think K-tuned and Rywire both sell one for the EM2. Rywire is the cheapest I believe. It will be directly clip in and includes the relay for the primary O2 sensor. it goes for $150-200 if I remember right.
One thing you need to do though is go to a dealership and check the pin-out of the Accord ECU. Most companies only (Rywire, etc.) only make parts based on the RSX ECU as a donor ECU. I went to my local Honda dealership and asked for their electrical shop manuals for the CRV and checked them against the RSX. It turns out the CRV has the same pinout as the RSX so I was good to go and could follow what people had done in the past.
While I would venture a guess that the Accord is the same, I have not personally looked at the pinout and cannot say for sure that it will work. I would do the legwork and check it out. If it is the same you can buy an off the shelf adapter and call it a day. If not you may need to run a CRV ECU (the CRV ECU should run the K24A4 just the same as the A1... you may just need to swap the intake manifold and some other parts peripherals.)
Anyway, I got a bit wordy, but I hope this helps.
