one of my friends said that they made it from santa cruz to monterey one time in 20 minutes. that's a 40 mile drive, one lane most of the way, a 'Daytime Headlights Section', trucks, farmworkers, and lots of traffic. one night, one of my friends and i tested this time out. yeah, we did it in about 25 minutes. but they did it in the day time. we did it between 1 and 1:30 am, and passed three sets of cars in the single lane section, all of which flashed their headlights at us when we had the dashed line. about a week later, i had to drive back up there. something looked odd. it's now a double solid line the entire way! DID WE HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS???

$75 dollars, you got lucky try $217 going 80 in a 55, even went to Dekalb county court, they lowered it 10 miles and still gave me points on my licence. But yeah i feel ya it sucx

Lucky for IL drivers, we dont do points.

in IL...19 mph or less over speed limit:
$75-100 fine and driving record noted(sometimes can get supervision and if no incidents during supervision, then incident not noted on record)

20-30 mph over limit $150-350
guilty conviction noted on record

30+ mph over speed limit:
400 and up depending on speed and automatic license suspension

75$ isnt too bad..

$75 not bad. In WI you'd be looking at $255. been there - done that. So did the car driving behind me who pulled over at the same time. Probably one of the dumbest things I've done in recent times. We both were going the same speed, we both pulled over for the stupid cop and the state of WI became $510 richer in about 5 minutes. ****ing bastards were parked in the middle of the highway every 10 minutes all the way through the state.....



between the hours of 12:30AM till whenever I got the hell outta there and into Minnesota where I didn't see one cop, coming or going through the whole state. WI sucks too many cops with radar guns and nothing better to do.

i did 80 on 55 before and i paid $150 for the ticket and the online defensive class..
