It finally happened I got a ticket for modified exhaust, cracked windshield, and I did not have my current insurance card it was on my coffee table. This dude was a ***** he had a 6thgen pulled over and right after I passed him he jumped on mine and I was driving to my house he lit me. It sucks but I went so many years without one. I just wish they would put dents in crime around here instead of hounding people who like to toy with their cars. Now I need to go to the BAR and get this exhaust tested and show my ins and get my windshield fixed all in all about a 500+ dollar ticket after all is done.

yeah, you probably couldn't get away with the cracked windshield. but the exhaust ticket kinda sucks.
the last time i got a ticket for exhaust, i have to take 2 days off. one day to get it tested, and the other to go to court to show the paper to the judge, because apparently the clerks cannot look over exhaust testing paper. i didn't have to pay anything, but it sucks to have to take time off to do it.

and i would think its cheaper to just go somewhere to get the windshield fix without going to insurance 'cause that's probably cheaper than your deductible.

Yea it sucks thanks for the replies. I have an exhaust appointment today at 3pm so i should get it straight. I just have to put on my stock header. Junior I am down hit me on yahoo if you have it or just pm me.

Same thing happened to me recently. I got a ticket for my header and was wondering if anyone knows how the stat ref works. If i were to sell the car tomorrow without seeing him first what would happen?

Not sure on that one. If any thing just put your stock one on and have it checked of there. Its pretty cool there they are nice and they know there shat. I passed with oem header at 89.3 db at 4750 rpm but during accel and decel its over 100db but they do not measure that, so I am certified with this exhaust and can whip out my sticker at any cop and show em the door.

you have to get the ticket taken care of, even if u sell the care before the appointment. The ticket happened with the car in your name so you are responsible to resolve the matter. When I got my exhaust ticket, I asked the ref that question.

congrats man! the same thing happened to me where the cop was a dick and nailed me for the exhaust, no insurance in car, and no front plate...****ing $991 bucks if i didn't get all the stuff fixed. The lame thing was when i asked the cop if he even know what the db level was by law, he had no clue. Dumb *** cops just picking on kids....my exhaust was 92.3db!

I'm sorry to hear that!! I knew about the exhaust thing ( ) but I had no idea about the cracked windshield thing. Guess that means I'll be replacing mine once the tax refund $$$ comes in...

...Which reminds me... I'll need to replace that headlight bulb here pretty soon too... Joy.

srrybout the bad news guys ive been lit up 4 the same reasons..... no front plate, tint too dark, exhaust 2 loud, speeding even tho the cop had no radar, and once just 4 passing a cop twice when he pulled sum1 over... some of em are just plain out stupid one had the nerve to tell me my injen cai was illegal only cuz he heard that cai's are illegal 4rm another cop freakin idiot had no clue what was legal and illegal but w/e u guys that live in sac hit me up im lookin 2 move up there soon let me kno what places r good n what not

Yea i feel ya. My mini truck was targeted many times, I have been pulled over a lot in it. For some reason I have been ok with my honda until now, but now i have at least one out. As far as what places are you referring. What part are you in now......your title says norcal?
